Skoog Landscape & Design offers numerous ways in which to establish your turf.
Some of the methods include bare seeding, sod, strawmulching, and
hydroseeding. All of these methods have associated pros and cons and may or
may not be right for your site.
As a general rule, we promote the use of hydroseeding for most situations.
This has the benefit of being lower cost than sodding, but has superior
erosion protection and seed germination than stawmulching or bare seeding.
This mixture contains a high quality seed mix of Kentucky Blue Grass, fine
fescue, and perennial rye, wood fiber, starter fertilizer, and erosion
control tackifier.
Results are dependent upon water and temperature, but germination is
usually seen within 7 days and mowing necessary within as little as 20 days.
Landscaping naturally
Native prairie grass and wildflowers can also be established using the
hydroseeding process.
